One click function to save document in SharePoint, as PDF or Word format, is introduced in the new version of Dynamics PDF-Docs, released this week.
The popular Dynamics PDF-Docs add-on to Dynamics CRM (online and on premise) provides a one click functionality, as well as Workflow step, to PDF a Microsoft CRM 2016 Word Template, and attach it to an Email or Note.
Word Template feature was introduced in CRM Online 2016 Update and CRM 2016 (on-premises). After you create and import Microsoft Office Word templates into Microsoft Dynamics 365, with one click users can generate standardized documents automatically populated with Dynamics 365 data.
The most commonly used templates are for Invoice, Quote, Order, Opportunity & Case, which can be free downloaded from our website. These templates together with Dynamics PDF-Docs save users’ time to PDF a document or automatically create PDF reports as attachment to email, with Workflow.
The new feature provides similar functionality saving the document in SharePoint, and can be triggered on demand, by clicking a button in the Form or with scheduled workflow.
