Understanding Payment Gateway

The following CRM solutions are using Payment Gateway.

Dynamics Shopping Cart – for external users to purchase and pay for products and services offered on CRM portal.

Dynamics CRM Payment Gateway – for CRM users to accept credit card for immediate charge and as recurring / monthly payments.

Dynamics Pay Now – a button and QR printed on invoice and account statement, created with Word Template and generated with CRM workflow. Reading the QR or clicking the button the clients details are transferred to CRM Portal facilitating immediate payment for overdue amounts, with credit card or eCheck (USA only)

All the above payment gateways include two components, the user interface where credit card and payment details are entered, and electronic payment processing services which is provided by Authorize. Net wholly owned subsidiary of Visa

Signing up for Authorize.Net

You will need both a Merchant Account and Authorize.Net Electronic Services to accept credit cards. If you already have a merchant account, Authorize.Net works with almost all merchant account providers. If you do not have merchant account, don’t worry, you can still get Authorize.Net Electronic Services using their merchant account. When you sign up for the service, select either with or without merchant account.
